On Lincoln Prabhakaran’s professional philosophy

Academic distinction, Supreme Court practice, complex mandates and continuing intellectual engagement.

Professional experience in the United States and an international practice connecting India with jurisdictions, institutions and clients worldwide.

Disability rights, inclusion, human-rights advocacy, public-interest work, legal awareness and mentorship.

Began as a Tax Attorney at Ford Motor Company’s World Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, trained by Bradley Gayton, Director – Global Trade Taxation and Customs, and David Leitch, Vice President and General Counsel — formerly Deputy General Counsel at the White House under President George W. Bush.

Went on to practise with LexisNexis, handling complex corporate and intellectual-property matters — early exposure to multinational legal environments that would define his later career.

Established himself as a practising advocate before the Supreme Court of India, appearing in complex litigation before the Supreme Court, High Courts,
tribunals and other legal forums.

Expanded into international disputes, arbitration, cross-border advisory work, and relationships with governments and institutions worldwide.

Founded Pravda Law Associates and Lincoln Global Law Chambers, developing legal teams and an international network from the ground up.
His work extends beyond conventional domestic litigation into complex international matters — representing clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, tribunals and international forums on corporate, commercial, intellectual-property and international-law disputes.
Appointed by His Majesty Awule Kaku Aka III, King and Paramount Chief of Nzemaland, Ghana, in connection with a stated ten-billion-dollar international litigation matter, with legal authority granted in consultation with the Council of Elders.
Legal advisor, collaborator and promoter for the fifteen-billion-dollar Port City Colombo project (Sri Lanka), on behalf of a company ranked 66th on the Fortune 500.
Legal advisor to governments of various countries - reflecting the breadth of his international legal relationships and institutional engagements.
As Founder and Chairman, he has developed a global legal platform serving corporations, investment funds, governments and institutions, with capability in complex litigation, international arbitration, regulatory compliance, international taxation, intellectual property, trade law, data protection, privacy, fintech and technology law.
Founded as a complementary platform in India, handling litigation, corporate advisory and dispute resolution for major foreign and domestic corporations before the Supreme Court, High Courts, industrial tribunals and labour courts.
A newer venture focused on AI, cybersecurity, fintech, digital transformation and emerging technologies - extending the practice into the legal questions technology is now raising.
A non-profit organisation he founded, dedicated to advancing peace and justice globally.
Together, Pravda Law Associates and Lincoln Global Law Chambers now operate through a network of more than 100 attorneys and 50 paralegals, supported by senior advisers with experience in major international institutions – combining deep Indian legal capability with international reach, alongside initiatives in legal audits, capacity-building and pro-bono advocacy for disaster victims, environmental causes and marginalised communities.
Uses his professional standing to advance disability rights, inclusion and legal education, while preparing his practice for AI, cybersecurity and the next generation of legal technology.
He has maintained a long-standing commitment to legal education and mentorship, with academic and professional engagements at McGeorge School of Law (USA), the University of Salzburg (Austria), Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Madras University, Anna University, Lovely Professional University, Amity University and Chandigarh University. He has also served as a judge for the global rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, encouraging students to treat law as a discipline requiring rigour, ethics and social awareness — not simply a profession.
He secured University First Rank and Gold Medals in both graduation and postgraduate law, with his LL.M. specialising in Crime and Tort, and was honoured in 2006 as India’s Youngest Super Brain Youth of the Country by Competition Success Review. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Judicial Reforms, AI and Cybersecurity.
Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital governance, data protection and fintech are redefining both legal practice and the administration of justice — and his current research and professional interests increasingly track that shift. Together with LGLC’s growing work in technology, privacy, data protection and fintech law, it points to a practice built for where the profession is heading, not just where it’s been.

One of the most meaningful endorsements of Mr. Lincoln’s professional philosophy comes from Justice A.H.M.D. Nawaz of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. The endorsement describes him as a rare lawyer whose professional life has remained focused not merely on material success but on using the vocation of law to improve the circumstances of the needy, the marginalised and the destitute.

What does a lawyer do with professional influence, once he’s acquired it?
There are conventional ways to measure a legal career — cases handled, clients represented, jurisdictions worked, institutions built, awards received. By those measures, this record speaks for itself. But the more telling measure is what’s been done with the influence that record has earned: a deliberate, ongoing effort to mentor young professionals, promote legal awareness, and engage seriously with what technology means for law and justice.
His achievements demonstrate excellence. His international work demonstrates global reach. His advocacy demonstrates social purpose. For Lincoln R. Prabhakaran, the purpose of law was never only to represent power or resolve conflict — it’s to make justice more accessible, institutions more inclusive, and society more equitable.
